Diablo: Watch Scott Adkins In a Brutal New Action Thriller

With a cartel of gold, a kidnapped heiress, and a one-man wrecking crew with nothing to lose, Diablo fuses Latin heat with bone-snapping action. Lionsgate and Grindstone have released the trailer for Diablo. A pulse-pounding action thriller. Directed by Ernesto Díaz Espinoza (The Green Ghost, Redeemer), Diablo crackles with tension, firepower, and an undercurrent of revenge. Set against the sweltering streets and jungles of Colombia, the film stars action favourites Marko Zaror and Scott Adkins as Kris Chaney, a recently released ex-con with a violent past and a personal score to settle.

The trailer wastes no time in introducing Kris Chaney. Fresh out of prison, with scars on his knuckles and vengeance in his veins. Chaney is on the hunt for El Corvo—a cartel kingpin who’s part myth, part nightmare, and played with icy menace by Marko Zaror. These two have history, and you can feel the bad blood boiling. A kidnapping is in the making. But not the kind for ransom calls and quick exits. This one is for noble reasons. Chaney grabs Elisa (Alana De La Rossa), the daughter of Vicente (Lucho Velasco) a powerful cartel boss. What follows is a brutal spiral into the heart of a criminal empire, where nothing is sacred, and survival comes down to how fast you draw and how hard you hit.

The villain of course is Marko Zaror (El Corvo), a silent storm of brutality with eyes that say “don’t run, just pray.” His showdown with Adkins is teased like an impending storm, slow-building, electric, and utterly inevitable. You can already tell the final showdown between him and Adkins is going to be a masterclass in martial arts mayhem. The trailer plunges you into explosive shootouts, bone-crunching brawls, and a motorcycle chase through the jungle.

The cast includes Diana Hoyos, Lucho Velasco, and Juan Camilo Castillo. The screenplay is written by Mat Sansom and the movie is produced by Craig Baumgarten. Diablo promises a head-rush of violence, vengeance, and vulnerability. It’s a blood-slick dive into a world where the dead don’t rest easy and neither do the living.
