This project represents a high-profile return to action for Jolie, who recently starred in the biopic Maria (2024), directed Without Blood, and took on roles in Couture and Maude v Maude. Doug Liman continues to expand his workload with multiple ambitious projects, including an underwater thriller titled Deeper starring Tom Cruise, as well as a planned feature with SpaceX that will actually be shot in space.
The project marks Jolie’s much-anticipated return to the spy thriller genre, where she has previously excelled.
