He is the guy who has somehow made baldness the ultimate action hero accessory, kicking ass, trading blows with giant sharks and has out run explosions. He is the epitome of cool, the king of chaos, and the master of… well, basically everything, at least I think so. He is none other than Jason Statham and he is back in “A Working Man” that will premier in theatres nationwide on Friday, 28th March.

The official synopsis for A Working Man, as per Amazon MGM Studios, reads as follows:

“Levon Cade left his “profession” behind to live a simple life working construction and spending time with his daughter. But when his boss’s teenage daughter vanishes, he’s called upon to re-employ the skills that made him a legendary figure in the shadowy world of black ops. Levon’s hunt for the missing college student takes him to the heart of a sinister criminal conspiracy creating a chain reaction that will threaten his new way of life.”

“A Working Man” is based on the Levon Cade book series by Chuck Dixon, a prolific comic author and novelist who has worked with the likes of DC on projects including but not limited to the 1996 run of Nightwing comics. Co-written by David Ayer and Sylvester Stallone, a movie that marks another collaboration between Ayer and Statham after The Beekeeper, which was a hit at the beginning of 2024. Starring Statham as Levon Cade, a former black ops soldier who has given up his violent ways for a life as a construction worker.

The trailer teases another action packed thriller, and provides an exciting peek into the world of Levon Cade, an ordinary working man with an extraordinary secret. A world where nothing is as it seems, and the truth comes at a deadly price. We see him as a man who cares about those he works with and who will do anything to protect them, at any cost.

When his boss’s daughter is kidnapped, he is tasked with the rescue mission. But this is no ordinary rescue mission. Cade will be pushed to his limits as he unravels a conspiracy that goes deeper than he could ever imagine. Forced to unleash his deadly skills. He will stop at nothing to get her back, even if it means crossing every line and taking down anyone who stands in his way. And you know what that means? Get ready for a full-throttle rampage as Cade tears through the underworld to deliver his own brand of justice.

The trailer provides a better look at the movie’s impressive supporting cast, which includes Michael Peña as Levon’s boss and David Harbour as Gunny, Levon’s blind former special forces companion. In line with what has come to be expected of Statham movies, the trailer highlights mayhem, brutal brawls, explosive firepower and of-course plenty of hand-to-hand combat.

So if you are keen to learn a few more tricks, get ready to join Jason Statham as he unleashes a whole new level of awesome in A Working Man. Oh, and while many of us get carried away in the moment, remember don’t try any of this at home…
