For those fortunate enough to have a spacious garden, the dream often involves transforming it into a welcoming radiant space. A space that is often showed off for its beauty. Here, we see a direct contrast, with a homeowner in the Czech Republic that has clearly gone the extra mile to stop unwanted neighbours from coming over.
In this case the homeowner was praised for his morbid decor. Photos shared with The Mirror showed dozens of baby dolls and baby doll heads impaled on stakes around the garden.
The garden features, Halloween horror movie characters amongst others and makes for quite a chilling display. The intent of the display is unknown, although it is believed to have been in place for many years. Located next to a busy road, there is no doubt that the sight has left many horrified.
Reddit user Fluid uploaded the photos of the home onto the r/Weird group on the platform. The user captioned the post: “This house near my town. Many years ago it started ‘only’ with hanged babies [dolls]. “Now there are [baby doll) heads on spikes and mannequins too.” The Reddit user remarked. 24,000 upvotes and more than 1,500 comments. The homeowner received praise from many commenters for his ingenious way of keeping away unwanted visitors, and showing off his personality.
Love it or hate it, this Czech homeowner has certainly created a garden that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
