Our Philosophy: Real Tech for the Real World At Geekhub.co.za, we believe technology should be personal, relevant, and grounded in real-world usability. We cut through the corporate jargon and marketing hype to provide our readers with sharp, honest, and actionable insights. Our perspective is uniquely South African, drawing on decades of experience from inside the tech industry’s biggest boardrooms to the hands of the end-user.

    1. Accuracy and Integrity We are committed to factual accuracy. Every piece of news and every review is vetted for correctness. If we make a mistake, we acknowledge it quickly and transparently with a “Correction” note at the top of the article. We don’t do “fluff,” and we don’t publish rumours without clearly labeling them as such.

    2. Independence and Objectivity Our reviews are our own. While we often receive review units or invitations to media events from global brands, this does not influence our verdict. We do not accept payment for positive reviews. If a product is flawed, we will say so. Our loyalty lies with our readers, not the brands we cover.

    3. Expertise and Sourcing Geekhub is led by industry veterans. Our reporting is backed by 20+ years of high-level experience in the South African tech sector. We prioritize original reporting and firsthand experience—if we haven’t touched the device or spoken to the source, we won’t claim to have the inside track.

    4. Transparency We clearly distinguish between news, opinion pieces, and sponsored content. Any partnership or “Paid Promotion” will be explicitly disclosed to ensure our readers can trust the source of the information they are consuming.

    5. Contact Us For corrections, tips, or editorial inquiries, please contact our editor at akhram@geekhub.co.za.

After 28 years in corporate life, I swapped spreadsheets for screenplays and now write movie reviews and celebrity articles for Geekhub. It’s been a year of creative freedom, storytelling, and loving what I do—plus the occasional dramatic reaction to plot twists. No more meetings, just movies—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.470 Articles
