Today, Netflix has revealed the trailer for Caught the latest Harlan Coben adaptation making its way to Netflix. Set against the stunning landscapes of Patagonia, Argentina, the upcoming six-episode miniseries is the first Latin American adaptation of the bestselling mystery and thriller novelist’s work. If crime thrillers are your thing, this one is bound to keep you hooked. Caught is set to arrive on the platform in just over one week on March 26.

The trailer teases a perilous game between a journalist and a predator. A dangerous groomer stalks women from the internet into the streets of the Argentinian city of Barlioche. The investigative journalist Ema Garay, played by Soledad Villamil, portrays an unyielding woman. Ema has built her reputation by exposing criminals who evade justice in the many forms that exist. Her newest case takes an unforeseen and sinister twist when she crosses paths with Leo Mercer (Juan Minujín). Leo is a well-regarded social worker who soon emerges as the prime suspect in her investigation into the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl.

As the investigation intensifies into the case of the missing teen, the line between truth and deception blurs, putting both Ema’s life and career at risk. Ema’s search for the elusive truth, finds herself forced to confront her own demons.

Throughout the trailer, we watch as Ema  leaves no stone unturned to uncover the man’s true identity. But when it’s revealed that a beloved community member is the primary suspect, it is uncertain as to how the people of the town will come to terms with it. Ultimately we will have to see if justice is served. Caught promises a tense and immersive mystery filled with Coben’s signature secrets and twists.

Joining Villamil and Minujín are Alberto Ammann, Matías Recalt, Fernán Mirás, Mike Amigorena, and Carmela Rivero. Caught is directed by Miguel Cohan (Blood Will Tell, No Return) and Hernán Goldfrid (The Bronze Garden, Thesis on a Homicide), with Coben serving as an executive producer.

After 28 years in corporate life, I swapped spreadsheets for screenplays and now write movie reviews and celebrity articles for Geekhub. It’s been a year of creative freedom, storytelling, and loving what I do—plus the occasional dramatic reaction to plot twists. No more meetings, just movies—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
