The trailer promises exactly the kind of mayhem that makes “some” weddings unforgettable. Get ready to see the Pitch Perfect co-stars and friends reunite for the upcoming action comedy film “Bride Hard”.
Directed by Simon West (Con Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider), the film follows Sam (Rebel Wilson), a secret agent who takes on the role of maid of honour for her childhood best friend. Out of her comfort zone, and with fellow bridesmaids judging her every move, she struggles to maintain her cover. After blowing off bridal duties for an international spy mission, she’s demoted to bridesmaid.
What should’ve been a weekend of reconnecting and celebration turns into a five-star death trap. The festivities take a turn when a group of mercenaries crash the party, taking guests hostage. It is up to Sam to do what none of the other bridesmaids can, wage war on anyone who would ruin the most important day of her best friend’s life.
