BTS, the global K‑pop phenomenon, has triumphantly returned to the stage as their long‑awaited reunion unfolds during their 12th anniversary FESTA celebration. With six of the seven members now discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service, and the final member, Suga, expected by June 21—ARMY worldwide is witnessing the full septet come back together in force reported people.

    Military Service

RM and V (Kim Nam‑joon and Kim Tae‑hyung) were officially discharged on June 10 in Chuncheon. They were greeted with tears, salutes and cheering fans. RM promised to “work hard to make an album soon and come back to the stage,” while V pledged a “cool performance” for ARMY

Jimin, Jung Kook, and J‑Hope previously completed their military service, with J‑Hope launching his solo “Hope on the Stage” tour and later joined by Jungkook in a surprise duo performance.

Jin rejoined the group activities after completing his service, while Suga, who served in alternative duties, is set for full discharge by June 21, just a day away.

    FESTA Celebrations & Surprise Performances

Held on June 13–14 at Goyang’s KINTEX, the FESTA event turned into a high‑energy reunion moment:

    • J‑Hope’s world‑tour finale featured emotional appearances: Jungkook and Jin joined in performances of songs like “Seven” and “Jamais Vu”, reigniting BTS magic on stage.
    • Six members, RM, V, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and J‑Hope, attended, while Suga made a surprise appearance in the crowd even before his discharge, to ARMY’s roaring delight.
    • The two‑day fan experience drew 60,000 attendees with interactive zones, fan‑made photo spots, DIY stations, and hourly light‑stick shows.

The energy, camaraderie, and visible joy of these performances marked the emotional heart of FESTA, which can only be described as, truly blood, sweat, and tears come full circle

    HYBE & Market Reaction

HYBE (BTS’s agency) celebrated with “WE ARE BACK” lights on its Seoul HQ. The announcement and early reunion buzz drove HYBE’s share price to a three‑year high, with improved profit estimates and investor optimism reported Reuters. Industry insiders point to a potential comeback in March 2026, though specifics are yet to be confirmed by HYBE. Meanwhile fans remain hopeful of a massive world tour next year, citing member reunions on stage as a promising sign.

    Final Thoughts

BTS reshaped global music, becoming the first non‑English act to conquer venues like Wembley and the Rose Bowl, and the top Global Recording Artist of 2020 and 2021. They return as close brothers, mentally and musically recharged. Ready to embrace the next chapter after individual growth and challenges. ARMY’s worldwide gatherings, marked by the iconic purple light‑sticks, echo the hope and anticipation surrounding the return of BTS.

The ongoing reunion at FESTA has been more than symbolic. It marks the rebirth of BTS as a complete group, blending heartfelt emotion with spectacular performances. As Suga re‑joins and the full ensemble regains their synergy, expectations are soaring for new music, tours, and global stages. With roots deeply planted and wings ready, BTS is poised to re‑write the next chapter of K‑pop history.
