In celebration of Women’s Month, Leap by Provantage has launched a powerful new initiative, “She Leads. We Listen.”, in partnership with the Shared Value Africa Initiative’s Gender Equality Unit. The campaign places women’s leadership and voices at the forefront, highlighting the urgent need for visibility, recognition, and measurable progress in gender equality.

    A Call to Action

“She Leads. We Listen.” is more than just a slogan, it’s a mandate for change. The campaign underscores that women’s leadership should not simply be acknowledged but actively acted upon.

“This is not about adding another corporate voice; it’s about creating space for women to be heard, seen, and truly valued,” said Tanya van Tonder, Marketing Executive at Provantage.

Tiekie Barnard, CEO of the Shared Value Africa Initiative, reinforced the campaign’s commitment:

“It is not just a slogan, it is a call to action for every organisation to deliver visible, measurable change that proves women’s leadership is recognised, valued, and acted upon.”

    High-Impact Visibility

The message has been rolled out across South Africa using high-visibility out-of-home (OOH) advertising platforms, including airports, shopping centers, and transit hubs. By doing so, the campaign ensures that millions encounter its powerful reminder: when women lead, society must listen.

    Aligned with ESG Goals

The initiative forms part of Leap’s broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, reinforcing its focus on social impact. Beyond women’s leadership, Leap is driving initiatives that address gender-based violence, education, and inclusion, showing a long-term commitment to meaningful change in South Africa and beyond.

    Driving Real Change

“She Leads. We Listen.” reflects a growing shift in corporate responsibility that moves beyond token gestures to measurable impact. By amplifying women’s voices in leadership, the campaign challenges organisations to transform values into action and embed gender equality at the core of their strategies.

After 28 years in corporate life, I swapped spreadsheets for screenplays and now write movie reviews and celebrity articles for Geekhub. It’s been a year of creative freedom, storytelling, and loving what I do—plus the occasional dramatic reaction to plot twists. No more meetings, just movies—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
