Electronic music fans, it’s time to mark your calendars in bold! ULTRA South Africa has just unveiled the jaw-dropping lineup for its 11th edition. The difference is, this time it’s bigger and better than ever.

This April, ULTRA will light up two major cities with beats and vibes you won’t forget:

Johannesburg — Expo Centre at Nasrec on Saturday, April 25, 2026
Cape Town — The Ostrich on Sunday, April 26, 2026

And the artist list? Pure fire. Expect to dance your heart out to massive names from around the globe, including:

    John Summit — tech-house wizard

DJ Snake — the French hitmaker behind endless bangers
     Axwell — progressive house legend
     Afrojack & R3HAB — special back-to-back headline set that’s impossible to miss.

But the party doesn’t stop there. The ULTRA lineup is packed with incredible support acts and underground beats from artists like Apashe, Kyle Watson, TiMO ODV, Indigo, Niskerone & Dakota, and Kurt April.

For lovers of deeper cuts and cutting-edge sounds, the RESISTANCE Stage is stacked with world-class talent. Expect legends like Dennis Ferrer alongside South African powerhouse Shimza, plus Major League DJz, Caiiro, Mpho.Wav, Mila-Rose and more.

In Johannesburg, ULTRA is bringing back The Groove Room. A dedicated space celebrating the heart and soul of African electronic music. Artists like Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, Sun-El Musician, DJ Lag x Que DJ and others will take over the decks to keep the energy soaring.

And if you want intimate, boundary-pushing vibes, the UMF Radio Stage is your destination, featuring fresh sounds from Dean Fuel, Chunda Munki, Vimo, Mia, and more.

Since its launch in 2014, ULTRA South Africa has become a can’t-miss highlight of the local music calendar, drawing fans from across the country and beyond with its cutting-edge production, unbeatable talent mix, and vibrant festival atmosphere.

Tickets are on sale now, with general access starting at R995 and VIP/VVIP experiences available too. Don’t sleep on this one!

After 28 years in corporate life, I swapped spreadsheets for screenplays and now write movie reviews and celebrity articles for Geekhub. It’s been a year of creative freedom, storytelling, and loving what I do—plus the occasional dramatic reaction to plot twists. No more meetings, just movies—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
