    From Stadium to Cinema Screen

After the success of Krone at Loftus 2025, where close to 30,000 fans filled the stadium for the ultimate sing-along party of the year, the iconic music spectacle is now making local cinema history. It will be released as a full-length concert film on the big screen exclusively at select Ster-Kinekor sites on 28, 29 and 31 March.

    A Star-Studded Afrikaans Line-Up

Krone at Loftus 2025 gives fans the chance to relive the breathtaking stadium experience – all in immersive 5.1 surround sound. With 18 of South Africa’s biggest Afrikaans artists, a powerful live band, energetic dancers, a 360 degree stage in the centre of the stadium, fireworks, outstanding lighting and a wide collection of some of the greatest Afrikaans and English hits, the in-cinema concert promises to take Krone at Loftus 2025 from the stadium to a whole new level – and audiences are encouraged to sing along.

    Immersive 5.1 Concert Experience

The cinema experience delivers a visual and musical spectacle, giving music lovers across the country the opportunity to be part of the energy, nostalgia, and celebration – even if they weren’t among the thousands in the stadium. The 2025 Krone line-up features a star-studded cast of Afrikaans musicians including Kurt Darren, Juanita du Plessis, Snotkop, Brendan Peyper, Liezel Pieters, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Karen Zoid, Eloff, Leah, Zaan Sonnekus, and many more.

Ster-Kinekor continually strives to provide audiences with a variety of cinema experiences. Showing a local full-length concert film on its big screens fits this bill and gives audiences across the country the opportunity to be a part of the energetic and enthusiastic crowd that enjoyed this popular concert.
