    Omoda C5 Street: Affordable Luxury

Omoda South Africa, is making its stylish C5 crossover even more accessible with the introduction of the C5 Street variant. This entry-level model packs a surprising amount of punch for its price tag, offering a compelling blend of style, features, and value.

    Value-Packed and Feature-Rich

The C5 Street comes in at a competitive R329,900, making it R35,000 cheaper than the C5 Style variant. And like most Chinese cars, it’s loaded with standard features that you’d often pay extra for in European brands.

Inside, you’ll find sporty cloth-trimmed seats, automatic climate control, a multifunction steering wheel, and a generous array of tech, including rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, cruise control, keyless entry, and push-button start.  Dual 10.25-inch screens dominate the dashboard, providing a modern and tech-savvy feel.

    Exterior

Despite its entry-level positioning, the C5 Street doesn’t skimp on style.  It boasts LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a choice of four eye-catching exterior colors.

    Under the Hood

The C5 Street is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that delivers 83kW and 138Nm of torque.  It’s paired with a CVT gearbox, which, while not the most exciting transmission, provides a smooth and efficient driving experience. Fuel consumption is 7.3 L/100 km getting you close to 700km on its 51 litre fuel tank.

    Safety First

Omoda hasn’t skimped on safety features either.  The C5 Street comes standard with electronic stability control, dual front airbags, front side airbags, a speed limit reminder, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

    Warranty and Peace of Mind

Omoda sweetens the deal with a 2-year/25,000km service plan, a 5-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, and a generous 10-year/1,000,000km engine warranty.
