    iPhone 17 Pro Max: Is Bigger Better?

    As of March 14, 2025, various leaks and rumours have surfaced regarding the upcoming iPhone 17 series that is expected to land sometime in September this year. Here is yet another leak that has been revealed by well-known tipster @MajinBuOfficial.

    It appears increasingly likely that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will undergo a major redesign compared to their predecessors. This newly surfaced leak offers another glimpse at the revamped chassis of the larger model.

    The image shows what appears to be metal moulds intended for the handset’s production, accompanied by the caption, “iPhone 17 Pro Max is ready.”

    The image reveals a large triple-lens rear camera positioned in the top-left corner of the back casing, along with a cutout to accommodate MagSafe charging. The size of the camera bump aligns with expectations of a more prominent camera bar on the device. We can only hope that the larger camera bar, and the extra space the cameras are taking up will provide photos and videos of a premium quality.

    iPhone 17 Pro Max Leaks: Is a Bigger Battery Better? 

    Adding on to this  Ice Universe a tipster with a renowned reputation has suggested that the iPhone 17 Pro Max that the next Pro Max will be 8.725mm thick, instead of the 8.25mm thickness of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.And this could very well be the case as the Pro Max, although not yet confirmed will house a larger battery. While the difference may sound negligible to some, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is already a little heavy and cumbersome, so even a minute increase in thickness would make it more inconvenient to use. If the iPhone 17 Air’s features are to be believed and it comes out in a sleek and slim form, it could provide potential Pro Max buyers an alternative to consider more easily.

    There have been numerous leaks and rumours circulating about these upcoming phones. In addition to the redesigned Pro and Pro Max models, we can expect faster chipsets and the official release of the yet-to-be-announced iOS 19.

    Rumoured features include reverse wireless charging and an upgrade to 12GB of RAM for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max—potentially to support enhanced Apple Intelligence capabilities in the future.

    With all the leaks that have surfaced, there might be little more to discover at the launch. But nevertheless we wait in anticipation to see if the rumours actually pan out.
