LEGO Batman 4 Could Be the Next Big Reveal at Gamescom – Here’s What We Know

The Bat-Signal might be lighting up Gamescom this year, and it’s not for another dark reboot. A credible new leak suggests that LEGO Batman 4 is finally on the way, with a full reveal expected during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19, and a potential release window set for early 2026.

Here’s everything we know and why it matters.

    The Rumor Breakdown

The scoop comes from a known LEGO insider on X (formerly Twitter), who has previously leaked accurate information about LEGO games. According to their post, TT Games is planning a full showcase of LEGO Batman 4 at Gamescom 2025, with the game launching sometime in Q1 2026.

“LEGO Batman 4 is finally coming and will be revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Q1 2026 is the internal release window,” the leaker wrote.

While there’s no official confirmation yet from Warner Bros. or TT Games, the insider’s track record has given the leak some serious traction online.

(RUMOR) The next LEGO Game by TT Games is heavily rumored to be a Movie Based Batman title that will span multiple movies across the Caped Crusader’s career. It is reported to potentially be revealed next month at Gamescom ONL on August 19th.

    A Gotham-Sized Scope

Unlike previous LEGO Batman games that featured original stories, this one is rumored to adapt multiple live-action Batman films. That includes:

    • Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy
    • Matt Reeves’ The Batman
    • And possibly nods to Tim Burton’s classic take

Think LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but Gotham style. Each movie would serve as its own chapter with large open-world sections and themed missions.

“It’s going to be like Skywalker Saga but for Batman,” one Redditor speculated. “Each film has its own hub, characters, and side quests.”

If true, this would mark a major evolution in the LEGO Batman formula, moving from standalone storytelling to a cinematic mashup of Bat-history.

    Why the Long Wait?

Reports suggest LEGO Batman 4 has been stuck in development limbo. In 2023, multiple gaming outlets revealed that TT Games scrapped early work on LEGO Batman 4 to focus on a Harry Potter reboot and even a Mandalorian LEGO project.

Delays, cancellations, and shifting priorities behind the scenes may explain why the caped crusader has been absent from the LEGO spotlight for over a decade.

With those projects now further along or shelved entirely, TT Games could finally be ready to bring the Bat back.

    What the Community’s Saying

Fans on forums and social media are cautiously optimistic. Some are skeptical it’ll be shown at Gamescom, while others are already prepping their wallets.

“This is the LEGO game I’ve been waiting for,” one fan wrote.
“If it’s really spanning all the films, it could be the biggest LEGO game ever.”
“Please let them keep the co-op. Couch play with my kid on LEGO Batman 2 was peak gaming.”

    Potential Release Window

If the Gamescom reveal holds true, expect LEGO Batman 4 to drop sometime between January and March 2026. That timeline lines up with typical LEGO release cycles and gives TT Games ample runway to polish and promote the game.

A Q1 release also positions it nicely before the next wave of AAA spring blockbusters, giving LEGO Batman 4 room to shine on its own terms.

    Geekhub Take

The idea of a LEGO Batman game that spans the entire cinematic Bat-verse isn’t just fan service. It’s smart game design. TT Games has already proven with Skywalker Saga that multi-film LEGO games can work brilliantly.

If done right, LEGO Batman 4 could be:

    • The most expansive LEGO superhero game ever
    • A nostalgic trip through Batman’s greatest hits
    • A perfect entry point for younger fans and longtime DC diehards

We’ll be watching Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19 closely for the reveal. If that Bat-logo shows up, Geekhub will break it all down: gameplay, graphics, collectibles, and how many LEGO suits Bruce Wayne gets this time.
